Lotte Museum is holding an exhibition for Kenny Scharf, the Prince of Pop Art who opened up a world of art that combines characters from science fiction comics with messages about consumer society. Kenny Scharf newly interpreted and further advanced the world of visual cultural design after Andy Warhol in the 1980s through pop art. As the first exhibition to display his artworks in Asia, this exhibition will display over 100 of his artworks, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, videos, and photographs. Key pieces that show the artist’s world of art, such as the Jetstone, Blobz, Super Pop series, and Cosmin Cavern will also be on exhibit.
