Description of the Work
Ahn Jung sook's work is based on the questioning of the square and takes as its motif the conflict of human relationships and the 'tension' of confrontation and conflict during life. In the spectrum of human relationships, we inevitably go through a process of conflict, and the artist tries to overcome this and find some common ground that we can share together. Therefore, 'tension' in her work is not a negative thing, but an energy that is essential and sustaining for continuous life.
