A combination of “New” and “Retro” to create a new trend - “Newtro” The old retro trend meets the millennial generation to create a new retro fever. There are highly recommended, famous spots in Euljiro 3(sam)-ga, also known as the Newtro mecca!
[Shop without a sign 1] Cafe Jan
Euljiro 3(sam)-ga was once an alley lined with print shops. Between the buildings that still have traces of the print shops, there are special shops that do not seem to belong there. The first is Cafe Jan. Here you can choose a cup to have your beverage served in. Choose among a selection of pretty cups that seem to be a part of your mother’s collection from the 80s and enjoy the cafe’s atmosphere.

The hottest street in Seoul right now is the “Nogari Alley.” And the most popular place on the street is Manseon Hof, where the main menu includes nogari and draft beer. Nonetheless, it is filled with patrons all week long. It is reminiscent of Germany's Oktoberfest. What is more interesting is that the patrons who are enjoying the classic menus of the past are foreigners and young people in their 20s and 30s.
Newtro – created by the younger generations who enjoy retro – is the place to go if you want to enjoy a trendy trip with a new concept.

LP Bar Pyunggyoonyul
You can’t talk about retro without mentioning LP records. The LP record is a thing of the past in music, but to today’s generation, it is something that is very unfamiliar. People walking down memory lane and people who are impressed by the new culture at this place full of LP records - both coexist at Euljiro’s ‘Pyunggyoonyul.’
Tip! You can also request a song besides LP music by writing it on a slip of paper.
