The National Aviation Museum of Korea

he National Aviation Museum is the first national museum in the aviation field introduced in Korea. The museum is divided into aviation history, aviation industry, aviation life, outdoor exhibition, and special exhibition, providing detailed introductions to both domestic and international aviation history. The museum features previously unknown treasures of our aviation history and displays 16 actual aircraft. It also offers information on the registration status of aircraft by airline, pilot and crew status, various experiences, and a look into the future technological advancements in aviation that will change our lives.

Gimpo International Airport

Gimpo International Airport, located in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, was first established in 1939 as a military facility by the Japanese Army. After Korea regained its independence from Japan, the facility continued to be used by the American Air Force until 1954.
