The animals from the artist's point of view are filled with wild energy. Inspired
by beautiful scenery of nature, historic buildings and wild animals, the artworks
feature lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and giraffes in a hyperrealistic style.
The artist expresses, "When you make eye contact with the work, you are full of
life and you can feel the eyes of animals that seem to be watching every move
as in the wild. The work has a special charm that leads to the bush in the
wild."

About the author
David Bucklow was a writer born in South Africa in 1974. Having spent his
childhood on the south coast of kwaZulu-Natal, his love of sketches and wildlife
was exceptional.
The artist started off with portraits taken while challenging himself, investing in
improving his artistic skills, including pastel and pencil sketches. After moving to
Cape Town, works of wildlife, landscapes, and sea landscapes developed into the
artist's signature style.
