'The park’s transformation began with the ferry south of the Hangang River, where accumulated soil formed an artificial island and creeks, shaping the Songpagang and Sincheongang Rivers. When the streambed construction began in 1969, the river was buried and park development was completed in the early 1980s.When the space was divided into the East and West Lakes following the construction of Songpa-daero, the area evolved into Songpa Naru Park, an ideal park that blends a scenic lake and green spaces.
