Art Drawing Online Contest - Celebrate The 10th Anniversary of LOTTE HOTEL HANOI
Over the past 10 years of accompanying Hanoi, the Lotte skyscraper has become an integral part of the capital's cultural landscape. The building, as well as Lotte Hotel Hanoi, is not only a luxurious and sophisticated destination but also a symbol of the intersection between modern architecture, and traditional historical and cultural values. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, we are more than happy to organize the Art Drawing Online Contest with the theme of "LOTTE HOTEL HANOI x Hanoi Culture" (the “Contest”).
I. Eligibility:
• Open to individuals or groups passionate about art and keen to participate in the contest.
• There is no limit to the number of entries from individuals or groups.
II. Time and Method of Participation:
• Contest announcement and rules: 9th April, 2024
• Submission period: 9th April – 5th May, 2024
• Voting period: 6th May – 19th May , 2024
• Winners announcement: 24th May , 2024
III. How to Participate:
• Create entries in the form of graphic designs.
• Online submissions should be in formats like png, jpeg, jpg, pts, ai.

• Complete the entry registration form below and agree to all terms and conditions.
IV. Scoring Process:
• Entries will be posted on LOTTE HOTEL HANOI’s Fanpage.
• The entry with the most likes and reactions by May 19th, 2024, will win the Most Favorite Prize.
• A panel of experts will select the top 5 entries to the final round. These entries will be displayed on Level 1 of LOTTE HOTEL HANOI for voting with QR codes. The entry with the most votes by May 19th, 2024, will win the Grand Prize.
V. Prize Structure:
Grand Prize:
• The winning entry will serve as artistic material for commemorative products marking the 10th anniversary of LOTTE HOTEL HANOI.
• Cash prize of VND5,000,000
• 1-night stay voucher in a Club Junior Suite for 2 persons, inclusive of breakfast valued at VND6,260,000
• Saturday Dinner Buffet voucher for 2 persons valued at VND2,222,000
• A gift item featuring the winning artwork
Most Favorite Prize:
• 1-night stay voucher in a Deluxe room for 2 persons, including breakfast valued at VND4,020,000
• The Brunch Buffet voucher for 2 persons valued at VND1,020,000
• A gift item featuring the winning artwork
VI. Prize Conditions
To qualify for the prize awards, the author of the winning product must adhere to and fulfill the following conditions:
1. Original file provision: The author of the winning product is responsible for providing the original file to the contest organizers and coordinating in creating derivative publications related to the artworks upon request.
2. Use Rights Transfer: By entering the Contest, the authors of the winning artworks agree to transfer the exclusive use rights of their artworks to LOTTE HOTEL HANOI at no cost. This transfer will include:
• Proprietary Rights: All economic rights of the artworks including the right to use the artwork for commercial purposes, merchandising and marketing.
• Publication Rights: The right to publish, display, or distribute artwork in any media.
By way of accepting the rules of the Contest, the rule would be considered and interpreted as the copyright license agreement between LOTTE HOTEL HANOI and the winner.
3. Original Work Warranty: The authors of the winning artworks must warrant that:
• They are the original creators of the submitted artworks.
• They own all the copyrights to the artwork.
• No third-party rights are infringed by the artwork and the transfer of artwork copyrights to LOTTE HOTEL HANOI.
4. The authors of the artworks must warrant and agree that:
• Entries must be original creations of the individuals or groups submitting them. They must not violate copyright laws, duplicate works, state regulations, or contravene Vietnamese cultural norms.
• Any entries suspected of like manipulation, like hacking or using fake accounts for engagement will be considered invalid and disqualified.
• By participating in this Contest, participants agree that upon the Contest's conclusion, the entries will become the property of the Organizing Committee (LOTTE HOTEL HANOI), have agreed to grant the Organizing Committee the rights to: Publish the submitted works; Present the submitted works publicly for communication purposes related to the program; Use the submitted works for future publications. The Organizing Committee is not obliged to seek permission or provide royalties or other material benefits to the participants.
• In case of any complaints arising regarding the ideas or entries after the prizes have been awarded, the winners are responsible for resolving any related issues. If there is concrete evidence that the winning project violates the regulations outlined in these rules, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to revoke the prize.
• In the event of any issues arising before, during, or after the contest that are not covered by the existing regulations, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to discuss and make decisions accordingly.
5. Significance of Winning Artworks: Winning artworks will serve as a prominent feature in LOTTE HOTEL HANOI’s anniversary marketing and merchandise, embodying the organization's legacy and mission.
